CodeWeaver’s CrossOver© for MAC ( $59.95) is an inexpensive commercial alternative the free porting utilities described above.As of January 1, 2019, these emulators have been tested and our software works on OS-X 10.13 (High Sierra) and earlier versions.
The only downside of this free emulation software is that some of the features of our software may not function exactly as intended for a true Windows environment. These utilities will allow the Windows software sold by S & S Computing to run on Mac OS-X and do not require purchasing a Windows license.
If you plan to use one of the free utilities (WineBottler, Wineskin or PlayOnMac, see below), you will need to first install XQuartz for those utilities to install correctly. You need to install only one from the list below. There are several emulation (virtualization) products to choose from.
